Introduction

Welcome to COBI Global. In short, we are here to help you simplify the sourcing of steel and to save you money.

Over the last 30 years, we have built strong relationships within the international steel trading industry, earning the respect of some of the most highly regarded suppliers and customers alike. Our mutually beneficial partnerships have given us access to all types of steel and raw material at exceptional prices, which we pass on to our customers, saving them time and money.

So what is it that we do?

We import and distribute of all types of prime and non-prime steel products to the UK. This is facilitated via our stocks here in the UK and Europe, as well as directly from the producing mill. In both instances we can supply any and all quantities. In addition, we can even supply cut-to-length, sheets and slits direct from the mill.

Through our international trading experience, we buy and supply both finished & semi-finished steel and raw materials to all parts of the world including Europe, Africa, Middle East & South East Asia.

All areas of our business are supported by fixed allocations or exclusivity with our partners to ensure that you receiving the best price, best quality and best service.

Who are we?

COBI Global was established by a team of experienced steel traders. Having worked together at various points in their careers, the founding members of the team had all forged strong relationships within the global steel trading market and with one another.

The combined skills of the team, along with combined experience of the markets – some 80 years – led them to joining forces in order to deliver a new, a far more efficient and beneficial way to source and deliver steel.

The most important thing learnt on their journey was that trust, respect and doing what you say you are going to do, is fundamental to sustaining good business relationships.
